  Semi-opaque, purple edges. Lots of pretty spice, lots of brambles, blackberries, hedgerow fruit, sloes, damsons and caramelised fruit. Alcohol a bit more evident. Tannins have a pretty firmness to them. Acidity is pretty, slightly pithy and surprisingly fresh and citrusy. Some black fruit.
