Château la Sable Les Choupissons (Red) 2025 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim
Purple ruby red. Beautiful Syrah typicity on the nose with boysenberry, Christmas spice, dark purple spice, crunchy raspberries, and a hint of menthol and garrigue. Young, fresh, and modern on the palate, featuring dark blue fruit, bucketloads of red cherries, and wonderfully juicy fruit. Primarily a vibrant wine rather than rich and complex, it finishes with firm, saline, and zazzy tannins. Crunchy, extremely fashionable, and very lovely, offering a refreshing, Provence-at-sunset sort of spice.
