Alain Baccino et Filles Château la Tulipe Noire Côtes de Provence (White)

Very pale lemon. Restrained initially with crunchy green apples and slightly grassy notes, the wine opens up significantly after breathing to reveal more aromatic citrus blossom. The structure is crisp and very linear, showing tropical fruit and crisp white citrus. While presenting a somewhat austere and linear profile at first with notable fatty weight on the finish, decanting allows the wine to become far more aromatic, concentrated and elegant. A concentrated summery Provence white that finds its best balance and fresh acidity after aeration; perfectly suited for chilled, poolside enjoyment.
