Bastide de Blacailloux Miraia (White) 2024 - Highly RecommendedVery pale lemon white. Restrained on the nose. On the palate, rather silky and sumptuous, with concentrated white stone fruit and rather a lot of structured white citrus. A hint of nutty lees, toasty but beautifully integrated oak, crisp acidity and serious gutsy concentration. Refreshing but elegant, concentrated, powerful, yet modern and crisp. Perfect for summer drinking, but has the weight and texture to stand up to food or even a rainy winter's day and a little escapism.
