  Ruby with translucent edges. Mid depth ruby red. Subdued bramble fruit. On the palate firm grippy tannins, inky blue black fruit and fresh acidity. Very extracted tannins, pretty, almost menthol acidity. A hint of slightly cooked blue-black berry fruit and cooked plums. Very serious, very classy, a little understated despite the tannins. Still very young and tight but lacks vibrancy, feeling a little flat on the finish.
