    Mid-ruby red. Pencil-shaving cedar on the nose. Firm, dry tannins are mouth-coating and textured, backed by a very Syrah-driven blue perfumed minerality. The tannins initially dominate the fruit, leaving the finish quite rustic. Very much a hearty steak-and-chips red upon first opening. Decanting and airing is necessary to allow for a better balance between the fruit and the maceration.

We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years.
