Pale shell. Restrained on the nose. Really beautifully poised on the palate - despite the anonymity on the nose, this is beautifully silky, delicate, elegant and refreshingly lacy on the palate. Pretty white citrus, hints of kumquat, mango, even some crisp white melon. Despite such delicacy and whiteness of the fruit, there is no greenness, and any austerity is simply translated as elegance rather than hardness. A hint of salinity on the finish, lovely juicy acidity, lots of white fruit. Seriously pretty and modern - a great wine for someone looking for delicacy and freshness.
