Very pale shell pink. Restrained and neutral aromas with pretty, almost floral notes of apples and pears. Fresh, clean, and carrying nice weight and ripeness, the palate reveals dry, restrained mineral orchard fruit alongside hints of raspberries and the faintest whisper of fresh spritz. An exceptionally chalky, phenolic textural finish confronts the palate like a sheer cliff-face. This won't be to everyone's taste, but it lifts an otherwise uncontroversially pretty rosé, ending on some violets and hedgerow flowers. Rather intriguing.
