  Mahogany red to semi-opaque ruby with garnet edges. Reserved and taciturn at first, showing clear tertiary development and mellowed fruit. The palate opens up to reveal textured tannins, cocoa powder, beautifully precise blackberries and a powerful floral charm reminiscent of rosewater. Elegant, mature and classy, it presents a profile that whispers rather than shouts - but definitely a wine for lovers of slightly more classical, evolved, mature Bandol.
