Intense coral pink with some ruby notes. Intense and sun-kissed aromas of sweet rose hip syrup, bright red fruit, red cherries, and grenadine. The ripe fruit continues on the palate with slightly sweet and juicy jamminess firmly balanced by some firm dark mineral tannins, refined acidity and weight in the mid-palate holding it all together. Bold, concentrated and unapologetic, in line with some of the ripe Grenache rosés of Navarra and Tavel. Don't be fooled by the colour or nose, this isn't a one-dimensional fruit-bomb. Pretty, serious and textural, with the beginnings of complexity on the finish. Its youthful exuberance has a puppy-like clumsy enthusiasm, but give it time to develop and mature. A dark rosé genuinely pushing the boundaries of what Provence can offer.
