Château Grand Boise Liberté Chérie Vin de Grenache (Red) 2023 - OutstandingTranslucent, light ruby red. Very floral and perfumed with blue flowers, blue spice, violets, garrigue and a hint of gunflint. Exceedingly pretty and supple with great finesse; lots of red fruit with peppery and subtle leafy hints. Chalky, elegant, disciplined crystalline tannins are almost ethereal, barely whispering against utterly charming acidity. Silky, textured and wonderfully structured, where pretty, feminine fruit sits in opposition to the seriousness and grip on the palate. Fruit-driven and exceptionally dainty. One of those rare examples of a red wine to recommend on its own or as an aperitif - we really hate to use the word feminine, but if ever a wine was so, this is it. Really delicious use of Provence Grenache that satisfies both lovers of fine reds and elegant Provence rosés. Wow.
