Château Juvenal Perséides (White) 2022 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Bright lemon gold. Slightly toasty, buttery and fresh on the nose with dark, tight minerality, oak salinity and lots of bold yellow peaches. Beautiful intensity and serious concentration on the palate. Lively acidity, almost straining against the weight and concentration of the fruit. Slightly peppery, saline and mineral, but overall creamy, velvety, soft and supple. Quite a powerful, tight wine with fabulous ripeness and concentration, though not an easy wine for sipping. Still very young and needs time to open up. What a class act, here for the long term.
