Pale lime yellow. Restrained on the nose, but opens out to wonderfully fragrant, floral, slightly grassy wildflower meadow and garrigue exuberance. Full of fruit and floral charm. Vibrant, charming, slightly sandy and almost grippy texture. Evolves rapidly on the mid-palate towards weight and structure rather than the fresh-and-zesty ease of the nose, and continues on to the finish with intensity and gravitas. Not an easy summer white - this is serious but elegant, reminiscent perhaps of a very concentrated Riesling, full of vibrancy on the surface but hiding real structure underneath.
