    Château Maïme Promise (Rosé) 2025 - Highly RecommendedTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

    Restrained, slightly floral on the nose. Riper fruit, some sour cherries, blue violets, classic Provence dry mineral elegance with some serious weight. Pretty tropical fruit and exotic flowers jostle for attention, with the palate gently chaperoned by this rather charming waxy fruitiness. Nice acidity, lovely concentration, and a remarkably fresh, pineappley, saline and slightly caramelised finish. Classy, refreshing, fruit-driven and wonderfully ripe. I’d like to see just a little bit more complexity and weight, but this is otherwise ticking every single box.

We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years. Elizabeth started working with the wines of Provence back in 1986, and for the past 20 years has lived on the eastern edge of south-east France.
