Château Minuty Jeanne (White) 2024 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Pale lemon. Delicately herbal and fresh aromas with notes of white pear, peach, white florals, and a hint of garrigue and menthol. Harmonious and delicate on the palate, featuring silky white lemon acidity, refined green apples, and crisp orchard fruit. Backed up by a firm, tight, glassy minerality and slightly smoky tannins, it shows beautiful finesse. A hint of salinity and crisp citrus marks the finish. It is beautifully elegant and classy, though the finish currently shows a slightly unyielding grip that needs time to soften. This is a triumph of a first vintage and shows that Minuty's Saint Tropez terroir truly is capable of producing fine wines.

Elizabeth started working with the wines of Provence back in 1986, and for the past 20 years has lived on the eastern edge of south-east France.
