Moderate ruby red. Lots of gunflint and leather on the nose. Very Syrah-driven on the palate with vibrant berry fruit, lots of bold black fruit, and remarkably menthol salinity. It features lots of ripe alcohol and exceptionally crunchy tannins alongside hints of liquorice. Pretty, fruity, and rather yummy. The wine is a little short and pithy on the finish, but otherwise, it is a remarkably modern, approachable Provence red at a thoroughly reasonable price.
