    Château de Pibarnon Bandol (Rosé) 2024 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

    Coral pink. Hints of reduction on the nose with slightly flinty red fruit, alongside softly honeyed, saffron, and peach aromas. On the palate, it is heavy and gorgeously lush, bursting with fresh red berries, salted ripe peaches, and chalky acidity. Elegant, exuberant, driven, and precise. Gently floral and silky, showing pretty meadow flowers, a hint of black tea, and crisp, elegant minerality. Quirky but delicious; it tastes older and slightly more tertiary than 2024 but features vibrant acidity, white chocolate richness, and savoury saline notes. It is refreshing and fruity, charming and elegant. What a charmer! Perfect everywhere from a top restaurant to a classy secluded beach.

We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years.
