    Opaque ruby. Intense and generous on the nose. Quite evident oak, opulent alcohol, ripe brambles and hedgerow fruit, a touch of blackberries and sandalwood. Beautifully soft and generous tannins with remarkably fresh acidity balancing the richness and generosity of the fruit and tannins. Some black liquorice and a cool herbal garrigue take over the mid-palate, before fading to a slightly torrified dark coffee finish. Ripe, solar, generous and unmistakeably Syrah. Nice use of concrete eggs for that rounded, silky tannic freshness.
