  Semi-opaque. Black velvet blue fruit. Slightly restrained at first, this opens up to some rather lovely dark cherries, brambles, hedgerow fruit and a generous portion of juicy red berries. Big, bold new world richness showing bold southern ripe fruit in its ultimate expression, supported by acidity and ripe tannins. Very rich, very sweet, opulent and rather decadent. Just a bit too jammy to be able to recommend the bottle, lacking finesse.
