  Very pale shell. Crisp wild strawberries and red grapefruit on the nose. Nice intensity on the palate with black fruit, spice and a weight that suggests partial malolactic fermentation. Crunchy and youthful, yet remarkably serious; the spice and charming black fruit provide depth and intrigue. Inky, liquorice and saline on the finish. Gutsy yet refreshing.
