  Bright gold. Restrained on the nose. Big and intensely structural on the palate, with sumptuously ripe fruit, perfectly extracted and effortlessly carried by invisible acidity. It is not relying on oak or frilly aromatics on the nose - just texture, intensity, concentration and a schistous salinity that really tells a story. No oak, no perfume, no excess. Exceptional balance, class and concentration. Opens up to slightly citrussy white lemon acidity on the finish, a tiny crack in an otherwise impenetrable armour. A genuinely fine wine.
