  Mid depth ruby red. Smoky cedar, a fair bit of spice, violets, blackcurrants, a hint of garrigue and slightly sweaty leather on the nose. Perfumed fruit opens out with time. Dry red berry fruit on the palate, with beautifully driven, linear, drying bitter tannins and a dark, chewy mineral core. It opens up to pretty, juicy black fruit, damsons, ripe plums and rather beautiful raspberries. Juicy freshness, lots of acidity and black pepper. A lovely Rhone-influenced style that is charming and lifted.
