  Semi-translucent with subtly garnet edges. Lots of gunflint and rather reductive Syrah character on the nose. The palate offers fresh, zesty elegance and a firm chewiness, but the structure is heavily dominated by dried, macerated tannins. Despite the initial crunchy, fruit-driven profile, the acidity ultimately falls flat, leaving a rather dried-out finish.
