Domaine Richeaume Grenache (Red) 2024 - Highly RecommendedLight to mid depth ruby red. Cedar, carnations, a hint of cloves and some savoury garrigue notes on the nose. On the palate, beautiful salinity is the first thing to surface. Lovely blue minerality, zesty acidity and very tight chalky tannins. Vibrant blue plums, fresh red fruit and pretty black cherries, perhaps suggesting carbonic maceration. Restrained, closed and youthful, yet remarkably refreshing - a lovely summer red that illustrates Grenache is not just for rosé. Charming and approachable.
