    Mid-plus purple-ruby. Fine blue mineral aromas with rich dark chocolate, roasting coffee and fresh nutty sourdough toastiness. Generous and rich on the palate with concentrated, opulent blackberries, wild plum, spice and pepper. Sour stony mineral acidity balances the almost sweet jamminess. Ripe, chewy, velvety tannins rely more on firm ripeness and alcohol than on pure extraction for structure. Big, hearty, generously bold and full of Provençal sunshine - serve with daube and gnocchi!
