  Semi-opaque. Smoky toasty oak on the nose, lots of Syrah leather, garrigue and sweet new oak that is a little dominating of the fruit. Beautiful freshness on the palate, with seriously gutsy tannins and almost blue-floral acidity. Dry, pithy tarry tannins are a little unyielding and hide the fruit. Pretty inkiness, some herbal eucalyptus notes. Balanced and very pretty. Absolutely yummy, classy, concentrated, balanced and fresh. On the finish, it is a little crisp and the fruit struggles to shine.
