Domaine Tempier Cabassaou (Red) 2023 - OutstandingTempier's top single-vineyard cuvée is from just below La Tourtine on a tiny, hotter, more sheltered site with slightly shallower soils, and the fruit is totally different. Floral notes and creamy, ripe red fruit aromas. On the palate, incredibly crunchy red fruit, juicy, pippy, berry-forward tannins with a hint of garrigue spice. Fresh, fruity, zesty up front with a linear, driven and almost unexpectedly austere backbone. Disciplined and concentrated. Fabulous ageing potential.
