Domaine Tour Campanets Blanc de Noir (White) 2025 - OutstandingTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

Soft white, with a whisper of pink and slightly cloudy pale lemon. Neutral on the nose initially, opening to a hint of flint, straw and persimmon. The palate opens out to reveal delicious, perfumed citrus, creamy white ripe fruit, sweet pears, satsuma, and a honeyed, slightly natty richness. Muscular, textural, and energetic, cut through by electric, vibrant lavender minerality and citrus acidity. Refined, crunchy, and zesty, this wine is truly alive. A little atypical as a white wine due to its blanc de noir nature (Carignan in new French oak), but absolutely belongs in a hip natty wine bar. A gorgeous modern wine that dispels any myths of Provence as an industrial giant. Possibly the best blanc de noir in Provence.
