Pale lime yellow. Very floral on the nose with orange blossom, pineapple, and restrained waxy orchard fruit. Quite a modern take, offering some nice oaky weight alongside crisp limes, white citrus, and a hint of green apples. On the palate, ripe grapefruit and white peach meet the round ripeness of Rolle and some grassy Sauvignon Blanc notes - showing benchmark Trévaresse character. Shows a firm saline structure from the oak and a certain chalky phenolic weight on the finish. Crisp, leafy, incredibly zesty, and concentrated. Refreshing, powerful, and utterly thirst-quenching. Not a grand vin to keep for decades, but you will be hard-pressed to find a better option for a beach-side salade niçoise.
