    Semi-opaque, purple edges. Ruby red. Lots of blackberries, a hint of liquorice, a tiny hint of leather, black toasty oak. Pretty spice and a hint of sweet oak. A more modern bold black opulent style. Fab acidity that really complements cherry and blackberry compôte fruitiness. Opens up to truffles, violets and coffee. Tannins are mouth-coating, black wine gum fruit., slightly dusty, gravelly and mineral that are clear and powerful, allowing the clean, crisp acidity to shine a spotlight on the fruit. Still very young and needs to tame that tannin. Stunning wine that balances freshness and ripeness really well.
