Les Béates Béatines Rouge (Red) 2023 - RecommendedMid depth ruby red. Christmas spice and blue flowers aromas. Fresh, light blue juicy fruit on the palate, which is slightly jammy despite tannins that are firm, lightly chalky and gently gravelly. Smooth, supple and very easy drinking. A pretty, elegant example of Provençal sunshine in a glass, with all of the ease and silky freshness that has made rosé popular. It lacks the concentration and complexity for a wine that will age, but it is fresh, simple, really good value, charming and well-made.
