Marrenon Doria (White) 2023 - Highly RecommendedSoft pale lemon. Slightly floral Viognier notes on the nose, some perfumed pêche de vigne, floral peach blossom and white apricots. Very fine mineral white pithy lemon acidity on the palate. Firm stone fruit, quite tight and closed texture. Some nice florals, fine grey minerality and some leafy freshness. Intense, structural, shining through its concentration rather than through opulent oak, ripeness or decadence. A pretty and very modern white that delivers exactly what someone looking for a Provence white thinks they should be getting, without forfeiting intensity or concentration in the process. Refined, delicate, classy, fashionable and very well-made.
