Marrenon Grand Marrenon (White) 2023 - RecommendedPale lemon yellow. Bruised peaches, some oiliness and powerful perfumed citrus florals on the nose. Bold with some alcohol evident. Pretty perfumed stone fruit continues on the palate, but is slightly dilute and a little simple, a great wine for quaffing in a café and watching the world go by. Pithy phenolic weight on the finish just serves to remind me of what this might have been. A little too bold and stolid but nicely made.
