    Marrenon Grand Marrenon (White) 2023 - RecommendedTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

    Pale lemon yellow. Bruised peaches, some oiliness and powerful perfumed citrus florals on the nose. Bold with some alcohol evident. Pretty perfumed stone fruit continues on the palate, but is slightly dilute and a little simple, a great wine for quaffing in a café and watching the world go by. Pithy phenolic weight on the finish just serves to remind me of what this might have been. A little too bold and stolid but nicely made.

We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years.
