  Opaque. Rich, dark and inky on the nose with dark black blue inkiness. Big and opulent, velvety and ripe on the palate with serious grip, structure and mouthwatering acidity. Ripeness has been taken to an absolute limit, as have the tannins. It is big, bold, new world and intense. Taken to an extreme, a wine for lovers of Napa Cab with a southern French accent. Great acidity despite the weight and richness.
