  Semi-opaque with ruby edges. Ruby red. Lots of spice, herbal, some black fruit and a hint of black pepper. Juicy blue black fruit, floral notes, violets, firm tannins, hints of black cocoa grippy texture and fresh acidity. Slightly cooked, jammy bramble and blackberry fruit. Bold, intense, but beautifully fresh and vibrant. Silky, bold, alcohol a little present despite slightly pippy tannins. Still very youthful. The long blue black mineral acidity gives a linear length. Very elegant and serious without richness and power. A classic mid-range southern Syrah.
