Light to mid-depth cherry red with remarkably ruby edges. Energetic, crisp and electric on the nose with zippy youthful black fruit and spicy sour cherry that is almost Kadarka-like. The palate offers pretty spice and fresh red fruit with a slight spritziness. Tannins are velvety yet youthful, showcasing an almost Burgundian wildness and confidence. It is a crisp, electric summer red ("blouge") with brilliant sour cherry acidity, perfectly suited for immediate enjoyment. Not a wine for long-ageing.
