Villa Baulieu Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence (White) 2023 - Highly RecommendedPale lime yellow. Restrained on the nose with a tiny hint of kerosene, beeswax, green apples and stone fruit. Ripe, round, rich waxy kerosene notes continue on the palate with lime drops, pretty green citrus and slightly phenolic minerality on the finish. Vibrant, mineral and concentrated, showing the trappings of a complex and age-worthy wine; extremely vibrant acidity despite the concentration. Quite firmly phenolic on the finish. This would definitely benefit from a year or two in bottle to open out.
