Very pale shell pink. Crisp raspberries, pink peach, satsuma citrus and a hint of white pepper on the nose. The palate is elegant, fresh and fruity, yet driven by serious mineral acidity and concentrated, weighty ripe fruit. Oak is surprisingly evident on the slightly blunt finish, lending firm, somewhat rugged tannins and a grown-up seriousness that contradicts the elegant nose. Quality winemaking, but a very modern, structured rosé that desperately needs half a decade in the cellar to allow the ripe fruit to fully emerge.
