Pale creamy peachy coral. Slightly subdued on the nose. Lovely creamy ripeness typical of hot La Londe on the palate. Incredibly concentrated with serious ripeness that is more rich body than just fruitfulness. Dark blue schistous minerality restrains any opulence, offering some delicate chalky texture. Hints of citrus, hazelnuts and just a touch of mimosa blossom. Concentrated, somewhat mineral and crisp, ending on liquorice and wild fennel. Definitely not a simple swimming pool rosé, but a wine which needs a bit of age to allow the flavours to integrate a little more and for the riper sweeter fruit to develop to give added complexity. Seriously interesting, classy and concentrated, definitely aiming for stern minerality rather than fruitiness or approachability.th
