Château du Rouët Villa Estérelle (Rosé) 2025 - RecommendedVery pale shell. Rather lovely stone fruit on the nose, offering apricot jam, perfumed pêche de vigne, and a hint of rosewater. Beautiful richness on the palate with charmingly ripe fruit and a wonderful pink grapefruit citrussiness. Sour white peaches, phenolic pithy acidity, and Frejus minerality provide tension. Concentrated, crisp, zesty, and slightly saline on the finish. It is remarkably pretty and stands out in a selection of similar rosés for just how charmingly fruit-driven and confident this is.
