Château Léoube Collector (Rosé) 2023 - OutstandingVery pale creamy peach colour. On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit, intense wild strawberries, freshly picked raspberries, and flashes of crisp and delicate white citrus and a hint of inky spice. On the palate the beautifully ripe fruit continues: grippy white berry fruit, white citrus freshness. Silky, concentrated, classy and quietly confident, with a hint of creaminess followed by a touch of salinity and some delicious mouthwatering minerality which takes it to the next level. Serious and intense. But while there is ripe fruit, this wine is primarily all about texture - crisp, cool, glassy, texture with a hint of gravelly phenolic weight and extraction. A fine balance between complexity and classic elegance. Still young and vibrant and definitely a wine which will surely continue to age and mature beautifully. Not suitable for downing a bottle and a half on your own in the pool - but this is a gorgeous wine.
