Clos Cibonne Château Cibon Cuvée Marius Cru Classé (Rosé) 2022 - ExceptionalPale coral-copper pink. Fennel, sweet red fruit, opulent peach, and stone fruit aromas with a hint of perfumed black tea, bergamot, and mysterious jasmine. Rich on the palate with notes of almost white chocolate, dried cherries, cranberries, and intensely concentrated wild red berry fruit. Silky, delicate but powerful, layered with beautiful dark citrus and some bitter blood orange counterpointing the sweet concentration. A massively serious, ethereal wine with layers of complexity and saline freshness. The fresh acidity on the finish feels utterly integrated with everything. This is as close to perfection as we can imagine a fine rosé getting.
