Clos de Caille Clarisse (Rosé) 2025 - RecommendedPale shell pink. Very perfumed aromas with crisp white citrussy notes, a hint of white peach, and creamy nashi pears. The palate shows crisp minerality, lots of white fruit, and a slight spritz, finishing with pretty red fruit and slightly jammy amylic raspberries. A poolside crowd-pleaser that becomes softer, richer, and fruitier after breathing in a decanter, showing fabulous potential. The mid-palate currently feels a little short and flabby, with chalky acidity struggling to provide enough length and structural backbone. It perhaps needs to be bottled later to fully integrate.
