    Domaine de Rimauresq Cuvée Rebelle Cru Classé (Rosé) 2024 - RecommendedTasted by Elizabeth Gabay MW & Ben Bernheim

    Pale coral pink. Lots of red fruit on the nose. Sharp wild red berry acidity, this is a full bodied rosé with rugged, textural, gravelly dark inky black fruit. Reminiscent of a full bodied Tavel, trying to balance that fruit with acidity and elegance, but held back by an unwillingness to embrace the tannin or colour that this style of darker, weightier rosé demands. Needs a few years to round out. Definitely made with a glance at the past, but with more than a little suspicion. Serve at room temperature.

We’re mother and son duo Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim. Between us, we’ve been involved in the wines of southern France for over 30 years.
