Le Grand Cros Aurélia (Rosé) 2021 - Highly RecommendedCoral pink to mid-depth salmon. Lots of firm, vibrant, slightly smoky new oak on the nose. The palate reveals generous red fruit, fresh raspberries, hints of black fruit and blood orange citrus, all set against a regal, opulent oak backdrop. While the oak is still slightly firm and dry, it is the youthful, energetic fruit, driven by plenty of acidity on the finish which carries the wine. Unashamedly aiming to be a fine rosé first and foremost - and not even pretending to be a summer poolside quaffer. Needs time, but highly concentrated and moreish.
